Two strings with weights are suspended from a height and dropped.
One string has weights tied equidistant, and the sound of the weights striking the floor speeds up with time.
The second string has weights tied as the square of length, so when dropped, the sound of weights striking the floor is linear with time.
As lead weights are used, this effect is best observed
in a QUIET lecture hall.
